Yukon also incorporates numerous engines.  The most renowned is the 5.3 V8 engine that includes GM's trademark cylinder deactivation system for better fuel use.  The SLE has a 5.3 liter V8 that generates 320 h.p. and 340 pound-feet of torque or a 4.8 litre V8 having a 305 pound-feet torque with 295 h.p..  The SLE can tow as much as 8,200 lbs.  Shoppers may choose between a two-wheel and four-wheel drive. 

GMC Yukon also has some safety features like full-length side airbags, antilock disc brakes and stability control that have always been present in all Yukons.  You can be warranted the Yukon is safe since it achieved a 5-star rating from the NHTSA.
