Porsche 911 Carrera GTS to be unveiled at Paris Motor Show

Porsche is just different in its own way. The company first manufactures its product, without promoting it and then just launches it. Porsche One the other hand, the other car manufacturers start talking about their new products quite in advance. Coming back to Porsche now, well the company has recently announced that it will unveil its new model called Porsche 911 Carrera GTS at Paris Motor Show this month. The new model is a stronger version of the Carrera S. Though it has been made clear that there will be certain visual differences between the two but it is also being said that it would be difficult to notice those differences. Porsche has commented that the new Carrera GTS has been made to fill the gap between the earlier models Carrera S and the GT3 of the company.

The new Porsche 911 Carrera GTS carries a little more of a sporty look. The 3.8-litre engine of this new model generates more power in comparison of the other standard S models. This new model incorporates six vacuum-controlled tuning flaps. These flaps switch among the optimized geometry of power as well as torque. The earlier Carrera S power contains just 1 tuning flap. The new GTS has got a special resonance intake. A sports exhaust system has also been provided in this new model of Porsche. This system combines 2 dual tailpipes for the purpose of unique exhaust note. The exteriors of these exhaust pipes have been painted black. Due to the aforesaid features, it is expected that the new GTS from Porsche will naturally be faster than the Carrera S.

The stylish new Porsche 911 Carrera GTS possesses a width of 4 mm at its rear-end. A Carrera GTS logotype has also been provided on the doors and rear lid. The interior of this new Porsche model is embellished with black Alcantara. There is a new three-spoke sporty design on the steering wheel and also on the gear lever and handbrake. When run on manual transmission, Carrera GTS goes from 0 to 60 mph 0.1 second faster. Also, the top speed increases by 2mph to 190 mph. The new model has also been equipped with centre-locking of 19-inch. A Porsche Vehicle Tracking System , (VTS) has also been provided in each of the new GTS.
